Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medical practice that involves inserting needles into specific points along the body’s meridians to promote healing. It has been around for thousands of years, and is a complementary therapy for various medical conditions. Cupping may be particularly effective at easing conditions that create muscle aches and pains. Cupping increases blood circulation to the area where the cups are placed. This may relieve muscle tension, which can improve overall blood flow and promote cell repair.

Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medical practice that involves inserting needles into specific points along the body’s meridians, acupuncturists aim to restore the flow of Qi and promote healing. Although it has been around for thousands of years, it has gained popularity in recent times as a complementary therapy for various medical conditions. Here are some of the benefits of acupuncture: Pain relief: Acupuncture is known to reduce pain in conditions such as headaches, migraines, neck pain, back pain, and osteoarthritis. It is believed that acupuncture stimulates the release of endorphins, which are natural painkillers. Stress reduction: Acupuncture can help to relieve stress, anxiety, and depression. It is thought that acupuncture works by regulating the body’s nervous system and reducing the production of stress hormones. Improved sleep: Acupuncture can improve the quality of sleep by reducing insomnia and promoting relaxation. Digestive health: Acupuncture can help to improve digestion by reducing inflammation and regulating the digestive system. Overall wellness: Acupuncture can help to boost the immune system, improve circulation, and promote overall wellness.

Hello and welcome to Hands that Heal!

I’d like to take a moment to explain my massage approach. I perform therapeutic & relaxation massage using a variety of massage techniques to include: Swedish massage, manual lymph draining, myofascial release, stretches and techniques designed for pregnancy/postpartum massage.

I believe you should also know I am NOT a deep tissue, sports massage nor clinical massage therapist. If these modalities are of interest to you, I would be more than happy to refer you to a massage therapist who specializes in this work.

You deserve the right massage to meet your specific needs and as much as I would love for you to experience my massage, I know that what I do is not for everyone.

Thank you for choosing Hands that Heal for your therapeutic and relaxation needs.

Warmest Regards, DeeAnn
